St. Francis is an independent, non-denominational PreK-8th school.
St. Francis School is located on 65 scenic acres in Goshen, Ky. We are a short 25 minute commute from downtown Louisville. On our campus you will find soccer and field hockey fields, a running track, nature preserve with walking trail, green house and gardening plots, a gymnasium and covered play shelter with basketball court.
Our Preschool is located in Harrods Creek, Ky. at St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church just off of the Gene Snyder Freeway. The preschool is not only surrounded by beautiful scenery but has a newly installed natural playscape for the children to enjoy.

Faculty
Our faculty consists of 26 women and 8 men, 33 who hold an advanced degree. One third of our teachers have been faculty members at SFS for 15 or more years.
Extended Care
Goshen: available until 6:00 p.m.
Preschool: available until 5:30 p.m.
Bus
Our student population comes from all over the Louisville area, so we feel it is important to provide bus service to the Goshen Campus. We provide access from the Highlands, Middletown and homes in between. Bus contracts are available for one-way or two-way service for the entire school year. An Activity Bus is provided at an additional cost for after-school events ending at 5:00 PM. Families may purchase tickets from the school office. The cost: $6 each, or 10 tickets for $54.

St. Francis School is fully accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central states, and is a member of the following organizations: National Association of Independent Schools, Kentucky Association of Independent Schools, National Association for the Education of Young Children, Elementary Schools Heads Association, National Middle School Association and the National Association for Gifted Children.
