ALUMNISt. Francis encourages alumni to keep in touch
St. Francis Alumni You are busy individuals spread out all over the world and we would like to provide the link for you to keep in contact with former classmates and faculty. The school welcomes letters, e-mails and calls from St. Francis alumni. Please contact Greg Borders, Director of Business and Development, (502) 228-1197, ext. 102, or gborders@stfrancisschool.org, for updates on your whereabouts, accomplishments and personal life. Please include your year of graduation from 8th grade, even if you did not graduate from St. Francis. We want to include all associates of the school who experienced the St. Francis education. We hope to coordinate a bi-annual alumni newsletter next year to keep fellow classmates updated and announce alumni events. So keep the calls, letters and e-mails coming! We would love to hear from you! Here are some of the environments where our alumni continue to distinguish themselves: High Schools
Colleges and Universities
"St.Francis was the best thing that ever happened to me, and I wouldn't change a single thing! I miss every inch of it." "St. Francis was a place where I could learn about myself while being myself." "I had the best three years of my education at the school." "St. Francis' most influential role in my life was that it taught me how to educate myself, be curious and develop my own opinions about what I learned.... Fostering creativity, open questioning, investigation and individual research, St. Francis prepared me for my career as a photographer in more ways than I could ever have predicted.... I believe that St. Francis helped me develop the skill of looking at obstacles as a challenge and imagining ways that I can overcome them to get what I am looking for.... Besides the many fond memories of my days at St. Francis, I carry a long roster of some of the finest and most caring teachers I ever had." "I have very fond memories of the six years I spent at St. Francis. It was truly a very special time in my life and has been a very deep and lasting influence on the person I have grown to be and on the way I choose to live my life." "I wanted to tell you how much St. Francis School has shaped who and what I am; even though my time there was relatively brief, I have never forgotten the wonderful years I spent within those walls.... Without St. Francis, I would never have learned the skills necessary to become a published author. Creative thinking, self-discipline, perseverance and an appreciation of the craft of writing have served me well. Thank you for continuing to give students opportunities to excel and chances to dream."
