Get the rafters ringing! The Middle School Drama Project students are ready to raise their voices in song this spring with the musical Sister Act JR.

Sister Act JR. tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a high-spirited aspiring singer who witnesses a murder and is forced to enter the Queen of Angels convent under witness protection. “Raise your voice” is the beautiful, central message of this musical about a willful songstress who finds grace and fulfillment in the place she least expects it. It is only when Deloris takes sanctuary that she finds her place in the world; through the framework of this musical these students show how each of us can find our own unique way to express ourselves.

Based on the hit film of the same name, Sister Act JR. is perfect for younger audiences, but contains the same positive themes, humor, catchy songs, and choreography that has wowed audiences for years.

Performances are Friday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday, April 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Goshen Campus Theater. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and can be purchased online or at the door. Cash, credit cards, and checks are accepted.
