Director of Annual Giving and Special Events Aug 2019

St. Francis School is a co-ed, non-denominational, Independent School founded in the Progressive tradition that is committed to equity and justice and located on two campuses in Louisville, Kentucky. St. Francis School seeks a Director of Annual Giving & Special Events who will work on both our Downtown and Goshen Campuses and report to the Director of Advancement. The position is responsible for managing Annual Giving program (including) and successfully meeting the goals; planning and managing our annual Gala, as well as a variety of other school special events throughout the school year; and serving as our Parent Association liaison.  We seek candidates who are passionate, energetic, highly detail oriented, and are outgoing and interested in being involved in school life. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, commitment to cultural competency, and the ability to work well with volunteers and vendors. Experience with Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising software is a plus. Part-Time Food Service Staff

St. Francis School, Goshen Campus, is searching for a part-time employee (approximately 10 hours per week) to assist with lunch service each day. This person would be serving students on the hot lunch line during the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The position would be for the full school year and pays $12 per hour. Substitute Teachers

JK- 12th Grade
St. Francis School, Goshen (JK – 8th grade) and Downtown (9th – 12th grades) Campuses, seeks substitute teachers for the 2019-20 school year. Candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree (for Goshen, in an education-related field) and previous classroom experience. St. Francis School, Goshen Campus, has immediate openings for substitute teachers in the Preschool program. A degree in early childhood education or a related field is highly preferred, but not required. A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered.
