Accounting Manager/Controller

St. Francis School seeks a full-time Accounting Manager/Controller, located on our Goshen Campus. The Accounting Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely accounting of the financial operations of the School. We seek candidates who are able to accurately maintain all accounting records, process payroll, process accounts payable, maintain student billing, reconcile monthly bank statements, and prepare all schedules as needed by our public accounting firm for the annual audit. Candidate will also be proficient with computer software, including accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Google Business Suite. Strong customer service skills are also required, as well as the interest in developing and practicing cultural competence. Middle School Math Teacher

St. Francis School, Goshen Campus, is searching for a dynamic Middle School math teacher for the 2019-20 school year. The ideal candidate for this position will have a BS in a science or math-related field, as well as an MAT or an MA in a related field, a passion for working with Middle School students, a minimum of five years’ experience as a math instructor, an understanding of Independent Schools, and an awareness of differentiated instruction. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, the ability and desire to work collaboratively, and dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence in one’s teaching are also essential. Additional responsibilities may include homeroom/advisor duties and academic team coaching; the ability/willingness to coach athletic teams is a plus. Lower School Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher

St. Francis School, Goshen Campus, is searching for a dynamic Lower School Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher for the 2019-20 school year. The ideal candidate for this position will have a BS in Elementary Education or related degree (master’s preferred), a passion for working with Lower School students, a minimum of five years’ experience as a Lower School teacher, an understanding of Independent Schools, and an awareness of differentiated instruction. Substitute Teachers

St. Francis School, Goshen (JK – 8th grade) and Downtown (9th – 12th grades) Campuses, seeks substitute teachers for the 2018-19 school year. Candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree (for Goshen, in an education-related field) and previous classroom experience. Varsity Volleyball Head and Assistant Coach

St. Francis School, Downtown Campus, is currently accepting applications for the positions of varsity volleyball head and assistant coach. These are contract, 12-month reporting positions beginning January 2019. These positions report directly to the Director of Athletics. Each coach will be responsible for all phases of managing and directing a successful high school volleyball program. Duties include coaching, supervising students, strength training and conditioning, tracking equipment, scheduling, and statistics. Collegiate playing experience is a plus, high school playing experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree and prior coaching experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
